„Reste Rampe“, the opener of the 4 track EP, is a relentless and unforgiving industrial stomper of a tune, inspired by early UK jungle and US midwest acid techno of the mid nineties, followed by „The Abyss“ with it’s broken beat pattern and sub bass, giving us a prime example that techno is so much more than a straight kick drum.

The b-side starts off with „Nostalgia is the sickness we feel racing towards the future“, an aural statement to everything „Continuum Series 1991-1998“ stands for. The record closes with ever evolving synth lines and a repetitive vocal on „The Future“, FUTURE9596’s take on classic hard-trance mixed with contemporary straight-forward techno.
